Getting Started with Shopify Store Management for Odoo

The Shopify Store Management module bridges your Shopify storefront with Odoo's powerful ERP backend, giving you unified control over inventory, orders, and customers.

Prerequisites

Before installing, ensure you have:

  • Odoo 17.0 or 18.0 (Community or Enterprise)
  • An active ECOSIRE license
  • A Shopify store with API access enabled

Installation

Step 1: Download the Module

Log in to your ECOSIRE Dashboard and download the latest version of the Shopify Store Management module from the Downloads section.

Step 2: Upload to Odoo

Navigate to Settings > Apps > Upload Module in your Odoo instance and upload the downloaded ZIP file.

Step 3: Activate Your License

After installing, go to the module's settings page and enter your license key in the format ECO-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Configuration

Connecting Your Shopify Store

  1. Open Shopify Store Management > Configuration
  2. Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g., mystore.myshopify.com)
  3. Add your Shopify API credentials (Admin API access token)
  4. Click Test Connection to verify

Setting Up Inventory Sync

The module supports bidirectional inventory sync:

  • Odoo → Shopify: Stock changes in Odoo are pushed to Shopify in real-time
  • Shopify → Odoo: Orders placed on Shopify automatically update Odoo inventory

Configure sync frequency and mapping rules in the Sync Settings tab.

Order Import

Orders from Shopify are automatically imported into Odoo as sale orders. The module maps:

  • Products → Odoo product variants
  • Customers → Odoo contacts
  • Shipping → Delivery methods
  • Payments → Account journals

Multi-Store Support

You can connect multiple Shopify stores to a single Odoo instance. Each store gets its own warehouse and price list configuration.

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed: Verify your API credentials and ensure the Shopify store URL doesn't include https://.

Sync Delays: Check the Odoo cron job settings — the default sync interval is 15 minutes.

Product Mapping Issues: Ensure product SKUs match between Shopify and Odoo.
